High or low, that is the question

Roosendaal uses two on-street rates in the city center. Which zone you are in determines whether you pay the high rate of € 2.65 per hour or the low rate of € 2.05 per hour. The difference per hour is small, but over an afternoon of shopping it adds up. If you stay longer, you are often better off with the day ticket of € 10.00: it applies on almost all parking spaces in the center and even in the permit-holder streets. Only in the car parks, in Dr. van Dregtstraat and on Van Dregtplein is it not valid.

Around and in the city center there are five car parks: Nieuwe Markt, Biggelaar, Roselaar, Mill Hill and Liga. There you pay € 0.75 per 20 minutes, with an off-peak rate of € 1.25 per hour and a day ticket of € 10.00.

Paid hours, including Sunday

Roosendaal has long paid hours. From Monday to Thursday and on Saturday you pay from 09.00 to 20.00, on late-night shopping Friday even until 21.00, and on Sunday from 12.00 to 20.00, including shopping Sundays. One spot differs: at Emile van Loonpark paid parking runs from Monday to Thursday until 18.30 and on Saturday and Sunday until 17.00. Parking is free on public holidays: New Year's Day, Easter, King's Day, Liberation Day (5 May), Ascension Day, Whitsun, and Christmas Day and Boxing Day. On Good Friday parking is free from 18.30.

Paying on the street and in the app

On the street and on the parking sites you pay at the parking meter.
