The story of SimplePark didn’t begin in a boardroom, but in university classrooms and on the streets. As students, we moved through the city every day and kept seeing the same thing: cars endlessly circling in search of a parking spot, while parking itself felt unnecessarily complicated.

What started as frustration quickly became a conviction. Parking demands too much attention for something that should simply work. We realized something was fundamentally wrong with how parking is organized in our cities.

From that belief, SimplePark was born. First as an idea, then as a product, and now as a platform used by more and more people every day. Today, we make parking effortless — and we continue building toward new solutions for parking garages and electric vehicle charging, always guided by one mission: parking should be invisible.

Every square meter counts

We live in a time when cities are becoming less car-focused and every square meter is more valuable than ever. Cities need to become greener and more livable. Sharing is no longer a novelty — it’s a necessity to keep our cities efficient.

Our original idea was simple but powerful: better use of existing space. Why build new parking structures when capacity already exists but isn’t being used effectively? We envisioned a future where parking and charging seamlessly integrate into everyday city life.

The chicken-and-egg problem

Full of enthusiasm, we started developing this concept. The vision was clear, and expansion into charging solutions was already on the roadmap. But as young entrepreneurs, we ran into a tough reality: building a two-sided marketplace.

To offer shared capacity, you need users. But to attract users, you need supply. Without a multi-million marketing budget or an existing customer base, building both sides at the same time is nearly impossible. We had the technology and the vision — but not yet the scale.

Building the foundation for more

Instead of giving up, we adjusted our strategy. We asked ourselves a simple question: where can we make the biggest impact today?

The answer was right in front of us — on the street. We launched SimplePark with a clear focus on street parking. It solves an immediate, everyday problem: fast, easy parking without unnecessary steps or hassle.

Street parking wasn’t the destination — it was the starting point. It gave us the opportunity to build, learn, and lay a strong foundation for expansion.
