You probably know the feeling. You are having a busy day, you hop into your car after an appointment and drive off. Once you get home, or halfway down the highway, you suddenly wonder if you remembered to stop your parking session.

Forgetting to stop a parking session is one of the biggest frustrations of mobile parking. It costs you unnecessary money and leaves you with an unpleasant surprise on your bill. At SimplePark, we believe parking should be as effortless and stress-free as possible. That is why we are putting an end to this problem once and for all by introducing support for iOS Live Activities.

What are Live Activities?

Thanks to Live Activities on the iPhone, real-time information stays visible on your screen without you having to open the app.

As soon as you start a parking session in the SimplePark app, a convenient, subtle widget instantly appears on your Lock Screen. If you have a newer iPhone with a 'Dynamic Island' at the top of your screen, you will even see a small icon there for as long as your car is parked.

Completely in style with the iOS Glass-look

In terms of design, we fully embraced the elegant iOS Glass-look. This recognizable, transparent style ensures that the interface not only looks beautiful but also blends perfectly with the rest of your iPhone.

Always in sight and never forgotten

By keeping your parking session in plain sight, a quick glance at your phone is all it takes to see if a session is still running and how long you have been parked. You no longer need to unlock your phone and open the app just to check.

When you walk back to your car and pick up your phone, the timer is right there on your screen. With one tap on the notification, you open the SimplePark app and stop the session before you drive away. This guarantees you truly only pay for the exact time you were parked.

Are you an Android user? Don't worry!

Do you use an Android device instead of an iPhone? Do not worry! We are already working hard behind the scenes to develop a similar Live Updates experience for Android. Until then, you can of course still rely on our handy push notifications to remind you to stop your session.
