Where to park in Helmond
Helmond has changed character quite firmly in recent years for anyone arriving by car. The centre is car-free and the municipality is deliberately moving parking off the street into the car parks: Boscotondo, Doorneind, the Elzas car park at Elzaspassage and Ameidewal. Many spaces on the street in the centre have already gone, and a large part of that area has a waiting list for residents' permits. As a visitor you therefore pick a car park straight away. All car parks are within walking distance of the centre, and a parking guidance system sends you to a spot that still has space.

Doorneind and Boscotondo each have their own opening hours, and those differ a lot: Boscotondo is open on Friday and Saturday night until 03.30, Doorneind already closes on Sunday at 18.00.
