Three rates in Oss
Since 1 October 2026 Oss has used three kinds of rates in and around the center. In the car parks and garages you pay € 2.00 per hour, with a maximum of € 6.00 per day. The car parks lie around the center: they include Eikenboomgaardplein, Boschpoorthof, Oostwal-West, Kruisstraat, Maasvallei, Lievekamplaan, Ridderhof, Spoorlaan, Burchtplein, Raadhuishof and Jurgensplein. If you are staying for an afternoon or longer, one of these car parks is the logical choice.
In the shopping streets you also pay € 2.00 per hour, but there is no day maximum there: those spaces are meant for a short stop. In a number of residential areas around the center the first hour costs € 2.00 and every hour after that € 4.00, so long-stay parking in residential streets does not pay off. If you want to pay nothing at all, park at the free Rusheuvel car park, within walking distance north of the center.
Paid hours, Sundays and the garages
On the street and in the car parks you pay from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 20:00. On Sundays and official public holidays you park there for free. The Bergoss and Oostwal-Oost garages follow their own rules: there you pay 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including public holidays. At the Jurgensplein you pay when you leave; at the other car parks you pay at the meter or with a parking app.
License plate, scan car and the app
In Oss you park by license plate. At the meter you enter your license plate and you get no ticket; in an app you check that the correct license plate is active. A scan car checks license plates in the National Parking Register, and if you have not paid, a parking fine (naheffingsaanslag) is sent to your home address. Not every parking app works in the garages and at the Jurgensplein, but you can always pay there by card or with coins.
