Stadshart, Dorpsstraat and the edge of town
Zoetermeer has two shopping areas, each with its own parking regime. In the Stadshart paid parking applies: on-street that costs € 2.99 per hour and a day ticket € 13.85. At Dorpsstraat it works differently: there the municipal car parks on Osylaan and under the CKC also belong to the blue zone, so you need a parking disc instead of a ticket.
For the Stadshart it almost always pays to drive into a car park. The car parks in the center are, except for Driekant car park, managed by Parkingyou and are recognizable by the number above the entrance. In almost all car parks the first 2 hours are free, so for an errand or a lunch you pay nothing. In the car parks there are also charging points for electric cars.
Blue zone and P+R
In Zoetermeer's blue zones you must use a parking disc. How long you may park differs per spot: the traffic sign at the parking bays shows it, so read it before you walk off. If you park a motorbike there, you do not need a disc, but you do have to park it in a parking bay and not on the sidewalk.
