Where to park in Arnhem
In and around the center of Arnhem there are seven multi-story car parks and three open-air car parks; on the edge of the city you park free at two P+R sites and a carpool car park. For a day in the city center, Centraal, Musis and Rozet are the cheapest municipal car parks: during the day you pay € 0.70 per 10 minutes, in the evening and at night € 1.70 per full hour, and never more than € 24.00 per day. Prinsenhof and the Stadhuis, Blauwe Golven and De Trans open-air car parks, at € 4.60 per hour, are meant for short stays; there you buy a ticket at the meter immediately after parking.
Broerenstraat car park is operated by Q-Park and has its own rate; watch the maximum height of 2 meters there. For Velperpoort you ask for the rates at the desk at the car park, and Velperplein lists them on its own website.
Opening hours differ per car park
Centraal is open 24 hours a day. At Musis you can enter from 6.00 to 00.30 and always exit. Rozet closes the entrance at 23.30, on Friday and Saturday at 1.00. If you come back late from a show, check in advance which car park you can still drive into.
Park on the edge of town
If you are going to an event or want to park more cheaply, the P+Rs are a good idea: parking there is free and you only pay for public transport. From P+R GelreDome up to four people travel to the Velperplein stop on a group ticket of € 3.50. During large events at the GelreDome that P+R itself is not available.
On-street parking with the app
If you park on the street, start your parking action in SimplePark and stop it when you drive away. You pay for the time you were parked, counted in the municipality's own time steps, so you do not have to decide in advance how long you will stay in the city.
