Summer, winter and four zones
Zandvoort is a seaside resort, and you see that in the rates. The season determines not only what you pay but also how long: from 1 March to 31 October the summer rate applies between 10.00 and 22.00, from 1 November to 1 March the winter rate between 10.00 and 20.00. And unlike in most municipalities you also pay here on Sunday and on public holidays.
Where you park also matters. Zones A and B cover all public parking spaces in Zandvoort except Bentveld; there you pay € 4 per hour in summer for the first 2 hours and then € 7 per hour. Zone C, the boulevards and the streets behind them, is at € 2.50 per hour a good deal milder and has a 24-hour ticket of € 15. Zone D around the sports fields is cheapest: the first 4 hours cost € 1 per hour. In Bentveld you park for free.
Car parks and longer stays
If you come for a day at the beach, the LDC car park in the center or De Zuid car park is often the quietest choice. In the LDC car park you pay € 3 per hour in summer, and with a 24-hour ticket of € 20 you can park there for a full day and night. On De Zuid an hour costs € 2.50 and a 24-hour ticket € 15. If you stay overnight, the LDC car park and Badhuis car park charge a night rate of € 0.25 in summer; De Zuid has no night rate. For Boulevard Barnaart there are also a 3-day ticket of € 30 and a week ticket of € 50, handy if you stay a long weekend.
Paying at the coast
On-street you pay at the parking meter or via an app on your phone.
