Every car you park with sits under Vehicles, the fourth item in your profile. You add as many vehicles as you need and it costs nothing. When you start a parking action you choose which vehicle you are parking. A short list with recognisable names is the best protection against the most common cause of a fine: parking on the wrong plate.
What the list shows
Each vehicle is a card with its name and licence plate, with the flag of its country in front. The vehicle set as the default sits at the top with the label Default next to it. Tapping a card opens the Vehicle screen with three rows: Vehicle (the make), Name and the Default vehicle switch. You add one with the plus button at the top right, see Adding your first vehicle.
The plate itself is shown for information only; you cannot edit it. If a character is wrong, you remove the vehicle and add it again.
Giving a vehicle another name
The app makes up a name when you add a vehicle, "Sanne's car" for instance. If you drive several cars, a name of your own is more useful.
- Open Vehicles and tap the vehicle.
- Tap the Name row.
- Type the name and tap Save.
The app suggests 'Personal' and 'Company car' as examples. Names like "Work van" or "Mum's car" work just as well; you are the only one who sees them. With two similar cars, pick names you can tell apart at a glance.
One action per vehicle
You may run several parking actions at the same time, but not two for the same vehicle. If you try, the app says: "This vehicle has an active parking activity." That limit is per account: if the same plate also sits in your partner's account, it counts as a vehicle of its own there. Whoever starts the action pays for it. More on that in Several parking actions at once.
Removing a vehicle
The Vehicle screen has a bin button at the top right. The app then asks Delete vehicle with the text "Are you sure you want to delete this vehicle?" You confirm with Delete. Stop a running action before you remove the vehicle; the app does not block the removal and the action keeps running afterwards. Everything about that is in Removing a vehicle.
