You can add as many vehicles to your account as you need, and it costs nothing. Whether you have two cars or drive four as a family: they all fit in one account. Nothing is attached to how often you add or remove one either. What is capped is the number of parking actions you can start in a row.
Why there is no list with a limit on it
In your account a vehicle is no more than a plate you start a parking action on. Storing one costs nothing, and a limit would only force you to remove something before you could add something. That is exactly the moment when you cannot be bothered: next to a hire car by the roadside, in the rain.
What to watch with many vehicles
- Clear names. With ten vehicles, "Car 3" is no help. Name them after the car or the person: "Work van", "Mum's car". How to change a name is in Managing your vehicles.
- A default vehicle. Turn on the Default vehicle switch for the car you park with most often, so it is always preselected. See Setting a default vehicle.
- Tidying up. Take cars you no longer drive out of the list. A short list prevents a wrong choice, see Removing a vehicle.
What is capped
Only one parking action can run per vehicle at a time. Try to start a second one and the app says: "This vehicle has an active parking activity." Across different vehicles you may run several actions at once, for two family cars for instance; see Several parking actions at once.
On top of that, one account can start at most eight parking actions per hour. That is a safeguard against misuse and against an app that keeps repeating the same action after a glitch; in normal use you will not run into it.
The same plate in two accounts
A plate may sit in several accounts, for both partners for instance, or for a car you share with the neighbours. The account the action was started in pays for it. The one-action-per-vehicle limit only looks at your own account: in the other account the same plate counts as a vehicle of its own. So agree who starts, to avoid both of you paying for the same car.
An account is personal, and you are responsible for every parking action started from it. So do not put cars in it that you are not allowed to pay for.
