When you drive off, stop your parking session first. At that moment we deregister your plate and settle the cost against your credit: the municipality's rate plus a € 0.29 service fee. Stopping is one tap, but it is the tap that decides what you pay.
How to stop a session
- Open the app. Your running session sits at the bottom of the Map tab.
- Tap Stop action.
- Confirm in the Stop activity dialog, which asks "Are you sure you want to stop this activity?", with the button Stop action.
- The app shows Parking action completed with the Zone, the Code, From and To, the Parking fee and the Service fee.
Prefer to work from the session itself? Tap Details on the map, or open the session under Activities. That screen carries the buttons Extend and Stop, plus the cards End time, License plate and Current rate. That last one is not filled in yet: it reads "Coming soon". Stop brings up the same confirmation dialog.
When to stop
Stop the moment you are at the car and get in, not before. Enforcement checks the plate when the scan car drives past. Stop while you still have five minutes of loading to do and you are unpaid for those five minutes.
What exactly you pay
The session ends the moment you stop it; you pay nothing for the time after that. You do always pay whole units: the municipality decides whether those are quarters of an hour, half hours or whole hours, and a unit you have started counts as a whole one. Which unit applies is stated under the zone's Rates, in a line like "*You pay per 15 minutes". If you had set a later end time, the price is recalculated and the difference stays on your account as credit. If the zone is outside paid hours, that time does not count.
Stopped, but the session is still there
If you still see the session after stopping, the stop signal probably did not get through because of a poor connection. Check your internet connection and tap Stop action again. Then check under Activities whether the session was saved with an end time. If in doubt, email [email protected] right away with your plate and the time.
What you see afterwards
Under Activities › Activity you find Vehicle, Type ("On-Street Parking"), Parking time, Location, with City above it when that differs from the location name, and Total cost, noting that the € 0.29 service fee is included. Forgot to stop?
Then the session runs on until the end time you set, and you pay for that time. What you can still do is in I forgot to stop.
